This month we had the opportunity to interview Corky Morrow on her time here at Ray Morgan Company.

Corky Morrow

Which branch do you work for?

Corporate Headquarters – Chico, CA

What is your role?

Well – I have several roles.   I am a travel agent!  It is so fun!  I get to coordinate all of the flights, hotel, car rentals & anything else needed for my co-workers when they have to travel for work.  I also work closely with the contract coordinators in helping get meters entered in so that they can bill in a timely manner.  Since I’ve been with the company so long and know several aspects of the company, I am also the “project person”.   Need something done?…send it to me!

How did you get to RMC?

I went to work as the receptionist for RMC when we moved to Chico in 1987 after my husband got out of the Army.  We had 3 offices and 32 employees back then!

What do you like to do outside of work at RMC?

Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family.  We have three boys (Justin 18, Colby 16, and Cameron 8).  I spend a lot of time with Cameron at Cub Scouts, swim lessons, movies, etc. and I try to chaperone field trips when time allows.   I love to go camping, concerts in the park, gardening and treasure hunting in antique stores, thrift stores & yard sales.  My husband and I enjoy wine tasting and weekends away together.   You will always catch me at our high school football games….Go Comets! 🙂

Anything else you would like to add?

I’ve been with RMC since I was 19 years old.  I have worked as receptionist, dispatcher, dispatch manager, sales rep, sales support and now in administration.  I have seen a lot of changes and feel blessed every day that I am a part of the RMC family.
