I first met Rodney Archer when Canyon Hills was leasing equipment through American Business Machines several years ago. As our lease came to an end and we began exploring other options for a replacement for our machine our paths crossed again. Rodney was working for Ray Morgan Company at this time. When we met and looked over his proposal, he shared with me that he felt we would be more satisfied with the service at Ray Morgan Co. At the time, I didn’t have an appreciation for what a difference there could be between the two companies.

We ultimately decided to go with Ray Morgan Co. because Rodney proposed a machine that would meet our needs and serve us well instead of trying to sell us a machine that was much more expensive and had features we would not have used. The added benefit for us has been the great working relationship with a vendor that is professional and goes above and beyond to take care of us. I have to admit that I was skeptical when Rodney told me that we would experience a drastic difference in customer service, but the difference has been remarkable.

Our leased machine through ABM was a bit of a bait and switch. It never performed the way we were told it should and when it needed repairs, which was often, we were made to feel like a burden by the office staff when we would call and the repairmen that were sent for service. The opposite is true with RMC. They consistently go out of their way to help us if our machine has a problem. Rodney and our service techs have given us their cell phone numbers and even encouraged us to call after hours if we run into a problem. Just one example of this would be the first Easter weekend that we had the machine. It was a crunch time for us as we had multiple services and events and were in the middle of a building project and our machine went down before we could print our Easter Sunday bulletins and over 1000 handouts for a community Sunrise service. I called Rodney and they worked to get the machine back up. When they couldn’t, he personally took my files and printed them for me somewhere else and then delivered the completed project on a Saturday evening. Time and time again, they have gone the extra step beyond what would be required to help us.

I wholeheartedly recommend Ray Morgan Company to anyone who is considering doing business with them, and if you are fortunate enough to have the privilege of working with Rodney Archer as your connection with the company, you’ll see why. Working with Rodney feels less like working with a salesman and more like working with someone who wants to partner with us to help us find what we need to carry out the vision we have. I believe if you choose Ray Morgan Co., you will not be disappointed.
