The Ray Morgan Company Camp Fire Relief Efforts

Ray Morgan Company is headquartered in Chico Ca. Many of our colleagues have been affected by the Campfire.

The Campfire has destroyed over 153,000 acres including most of the town of Paradise, CA. The month-long Camp fire started Nov. 8 2018 destroying almost 14,000 homes and killed 86 people. The Campfire is reported to be the most destructive fire in California history. Ray Morgan Company colleagues are among those that have lost their homes & belongings to the Campfire.

Our Employees

17 Ray Morgan Company employees and their families were displaced by the Camp Fire. To support our employees, as well as the community, Ray Morgan Company has raised funds to help.

Our colleagues had already left for work or were in the office when they received word that their homes were being threatened by the Campfire. By the time they left the office and headed home, it was too late, the roads into Paradise were closed and police were not allowing anyone back into the town of Paradise.

In order to respond to the needs of our employees, Ray Morgan Company was able to exceed our GoFundMe goal of $300,000. These funds raised will go directly to the employees and their families to purchase items that are needed to rebuild their lives.

Helping Our Community

As we move forward it’s become evident that many community members are still in great need of help. One month later the community is starting to move out of emergency response and into rebuilding. As we transition our community needs help.

During this season of rebuilding, we feel a responsibility to our community to help in this enormous effort. Our ownership and staff have pulled together a significant fund to help the community, but due to the scope of the fire our resources are not enough. Would you consider partnering with Ray Morgan Company to make a difference in our community?

Your contribution would be so appreciated. We have partnered with great local business-like Golden Valley Community Foundation and their partners to help distribute these funds locally. Please donate via the link below. Thank you for your partnership.
