RMC-Chico Is Going Solar!

Ray Morgan Company Chico is officially ‘Off the Grid’ regarding electricity. During the month of December, RMC Chico had solar panels installed on the roof of the building to power our corporate office for 2012 and beyond. Along with this being a positive step as it relates to the environment we will also realize significant savings regarding our electrical bill.
 
What are the benefits of going solar?
 

Over 30 years, the environmental impact will be equivalent to: 

  • 3,030 trees planted
  • 22 cars taken off the road for a year
  • 0.6 railcars of coal not burned
  • 41 tones of waste recycled rather than landfilled
  • 1.6 tanker trucks of gasoline not burned
